おいて、材料分野の分子シミュレーション・ソフトウェアに関するアプリケーション・サ
イエンティストを募集します。業務内容は主に当該分野のソフトウェア販売のための顧客
への技術説明、ソフトウェアを応用した研究・計算事例の作成やその内容の学会発表、ユ
ーザーへのトレーニングや技術サポート、有償受託研究サービスなどです。弊社のチーム

仕事内容：
- Schrödingerの材料科学向けソフトウェアの販売に伴って必要となる顧客への機能紹介
- 上記ソフトウェアを応用した研究・計算事例の作成
- ユーザーへの技術サポートとトレーニング
- 技術資料の作成や翻訳（和訳・英訳）
- 学会、展示会などにおける口頭/ポスターの発表
- 弊社で開催するセミナー/ワークショップ等における講師
- 受託解析・研究サービスの実行または補助
応募条件：
- 材料科学の分子シミュレーションに関連する分野について大学院博士課程修了あるいは
それと同等以上の知識と経験を有していること - 優れたコミュニケーション能力と問題解決能力があること
- 必要に応じて東京にある当社オフィスに通勤可能であること
- 言語：母国語レベルの高い日本語スキル
- 英語スキル：電子メール、報告書作成、ウェブ会議、テレカンファレンス

Schrödinger Corporation, a Japanese subsidiary of Schrödinger in the United States, seeks an Applications Scientist for our Materials Science team. This job consists of pre- and post-sales software support (including demonstrations and training for optimal use of our materials science softwares), facilitation of interactions between customers and product development teams, and providing general scientific guidance. We welcome those who work well in a team environment and strive to find the best solution for both our customers and our colleagues. In addition, research content that has shown good results (and can be made public) can be submitted to scientific magazines.

What you’ll do:
- Explain materials science software to customers in a pre-sales setting
- Create research/calculation examples using said software
- Train and offer technical support to software users
- Prepare and translate technical materials between Japanese and English
- Present at academic meetings, conferences, exhibitions, etc.
- Lead seminars/workshops held at our offices
- Execute or support contract analysis and research service
What you’ll need:
- PhD in molecular simulation of materials science, or a related area
- Willingness to commute to our Tokyo office when necessary
- Native Japanese language skills for email/phone/face-to-face communication with customers/staff, making documents/slides, preparation of reports, and conferences
- Working English skills for email correspondence, preparation of reports, web conferences, and teleconferences
