FEP+, WaterMap, Glide, Maestro, and LiveDesign are just a few examples of the applications we’ve created.
As a member of the Communications team, you’ll play a key role developing and executing an integrated communications plan. You’ll also have the opportunity to position Schrödinger as an industry leader in drug discovery and materials design by reaching key stakeholders, including customers, current and prospective employees, media, investors, and residents of the communities where we live and work.

What you’ll do:
- Partner with the SVP of communications and investor relations on developing and executing the annual integrated communications plan to support company goals and objectives
- Create key communications materials, including press releases, Q&A documents, company presentations, fact sheets, media statements, and OpEds
- Team up with scientists to write blogs and identify opportunities for scientific communications
- Partner with our executive team to develop thought leadership platforms and identify speaking and written opportunities for company leaders
- Cultivate strong relationships with key media outlets
- Collaborate with Marketing to amplify retail efforts and maintain brand consistency
- Proactively identify potential challenges and develop issue-management plans
- Support the company website and ensure a cohesive voice and tone
- Develop and execute an internal communications plan in partnership with HR, the SVP of Communications, the CEO, and other executives
- Foster competitive intelligence efforts, monitor media coverage, and pinpoint opportunities to participate in industry dialogue
- Organize and provide media training and coaching
What you’ll need:
- At least ten years of communications experience, preferably in a publicly-traded company
- A scientific degree
- Familiarity with life science technology
