Compliance Analyst

The Role

We are seeking a Compliance Associate to join the global Compliance Department based from the London office and form part of the Core Compliance team. This role will have a global coverage and provide an opportunity to collaborate with colleagues across the globe.

                                                                                                                                                                                                                     

What you’ll do 

  • Work closely with the Core Compliance team to manage code of ethics related deliverables for the Compliance department globally
  • o    Personal account dealing management
    o    Compliance process and operations
    o    Periodic regulatory filing
    o    Conflict recordkeeping and mitigation (e.g G&E and OBI’s)
    o    Compliance training
    o    Compliance reporting 
  • Assist with wider compliance matters and projects as needed

 

What you’ll bring

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Legal or related disciplines
  • Experience of a central compliance role, buy-side with an alternative investment firm or hedge fund
  • Intellectually curious with a strong motivation to constantly evolve and improve
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, as well as the ability to multi-task with minimal supervision
  • A systematic mindset
  • Ability to work in a fast-moving, high-quality environment
  • Detail oriented with high level of accuracy in both written and oral forms of communication

We’d love if you had:

  • Experience of one or many compliance systems such as ComplianceAlpha, Paragon or StarCompliance
  • An ability to produce automated forms and certifications
  • Fluency in other languages
