The Role 

We are seeking a highly analytical, detail oriented professional to join the team as a Operations Analyst at Schonfeld in our Hong Kong office. You will be working with an experienced Operations team to implement best in class operational policies and procedures. You will have a keen attention to detail, a data integrity mindset and be someone who thrives off learning new skills and challenging yourself. You will be a natural team player who can use their strong interpersonal skills to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication.

                                                                                                                                                                

What you’ll do 

The individual will work very closely with other team members to assist with day to day operational duties. 

 

Some of the key responsibilities are:

  • Processing of equity corporate actions – Mandatory and Voluntary events, DR conversions and option expiries/assignments
  • Closely working with Portfolio Management Teams and PBs on Voluntary Events
  • Ensuring Security Master is up to date and resolving queries around it
  • Involve in UAT testing for system enhancement and projects
  • Products supported include Cash Equity, Equity Swaps, Volatility Swaps, Variance Swaps, Futures, Options FX/NDFs
  • Working with the global asset servicing team to collaborate on projects and share best practices
  • Work with Fund Administrators/PBs/Brokers to resolve reconciliation breaks

What you’ll bring

 

What you need:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance/accounting or related field
  • Strong working experience and knowledge in Asset Servicing and Corporate Actions
  • Comfortable working early morning shift hours 
  • Excellent Communication skills and stakeholder management
  • Self-driven, entrepreneurial and excellent in problem solving

We’d love if you had:

  • Japanese/Korean speaking is a plus
  • Proficiency in Excel (VBA)
  • Prior experience in Enfusion and Arcesium
