Executive Assistant

The Role 

We are seeking a qualified Executive Assistant to support a team of Portfolio Managers and executives at Schonfeld in our Tokyo Office. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, professional, and capable of managing a diverse workload and prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced corporate environment. 

                                                                                                                                                                

What you’ll do

This is a role with many hats; this candidate will be responsible for extensive scheduling and calendar management, preparing agendas for meetings, expenses, answering phones and taking messages. They will arrange domestic and international travel, accommodations, itineraries, and all correspondence related to arrangements including flights, hotels, car service, meetings, restaurant reservations.

What you need:

  • Strong written & verbal communication in Japanese & English
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple streams of information & tasks
  • Process-oriented and very strong attention to detail
  • Efficient time management and strong sense of urgency
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
  • Self-Starter
  • Personable, mature, and poised
  • Team player
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of information related to the company and its employees

Schonfeld Strategic Advisors is a multi-manager platform that invests its capital with Internal and Partner portfolio managers, primarily on an exclusive or semi-exclusive basis, across four trading strategies; quantitative, fundamental equity, tactical trading and discretionary macro & fixed income. We have created a unique structure to provide global portfolio managers with autonomy, flexibility and support to best enable them to maximize the value of their businesses.

Over the last 30 years, Schonfeld has successfully capitalized on inefficiencies and opportunities within the markets. We have developed and invested heavily in proprietary technology, infrastructure and risk analytics and continue to capitalize on new opportunities.
