The Role

We are seeking a highly talented and skilled engineer to join our team as an End User Support Engineer. The team is responsible for the monitoring/supporting of our windows infrastructure, Citrix VDI platform, SaaS platforms, and desktop applications as well as resolving direct technical issues across a global platform of end-users including investment professionals, middle & back office employees, and technologists. This role is hands-on and would allow the opportunity to work on both front-end support as well as back-end engineering. 

What you’ll do 

The End User Support Engineer will serve as the main technical point of contact for our NYC HQ location. You will be tasked with not only providing technical support to users, but also helping with various projects and rollouts such as Microsoft App-V deployments and implementation of a global unified phone system. An ideal candidate will showcase both project management and technical skills with the leadership ability to open, onboard, and run a new office location. 

What you’ll bring

What you need:

  • Expertise with Windows 10.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office 365, Windows Administration, and Active Directory
  • Experience with scripting (PowerShell) and Group Policy Management
  • Exposure to Citrix XenDesktop/XenApp
  • Exposure to Microsoft Azure VDI
  • Exposure to Intune and JAMF Device Management
  • Collaborate effectively with the infrastructure engineering teams and the business
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience contributing to office facilities
  • Strong ownership experience with a track record of delivering results
  • Bachelor’s degree

Schonfeld Strategic Advisors is a multi-manager platform that invests its capital with Internal and Partner portfolio managers, primarily on an exclusive or semi-exclusive basis, across four trading strategies; quantitative, fundamental equity, tactical trading and discretionary macro & fixed income. We have created a unique structure to provide global portfolio managers with autonomy, flexibility and support to best enable them to maximize the value of their businesses.

Over the last 30 years, Schonfeld has successfully capitalized on inefficiencies and opportunities within the markets. We have developed and invested heavily in proprietary technology, infrastructure and risk analytics and continue to capitalize on new opportunities. In 2021 we launched our newest strategy, discretionary macro & fixed income as part of the continual growth of Schonfeld’s investible universe. Our portfolio exposure has expanded across the Americas, Europe and Asia as well as multiple asset classes and products.

The base pay for this role is expected to be between $65,000 and $100,000. The expected base pay range is based on information at the time this post was generated. This role may also be eligible for other forms of compensation such as a performance bonus and a competitive benefits package. Actual compensation for the successful candidate will be determined based on a variety of factors such as skills, qualifications and experience.
