Chip, a Scalable brand, is a fast-growing global e-commerce platform that lets sellers create and sell print-on-demand items without having to worry about manufacturing, warehousing, payments, fulfillment, or customer support. Sellers create stores on the TeeChip platform, design products by uploading their own artwork and designs, and market products via paid and organic posts on a variety of platforms including Facebook, Google, and Pinterest.
 
As a part of our global expansion in Asia, Chip is building a team of world class Engineers in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. We are currently looking for a Senior Software Engineer who will solve challenging problems while helping develop our highly regarded products.  You will  communicate directly with our engineering teams in San Francisco and Guadalajara on diverse complex technical challenges, so English fluency is mandatory.

Responsibilities:  

  • Execute carefully crafted user experiences on our React/Node.js stack
  • Improve upon the modularity and consistency of our code base
  • Participate in architecture design with team leads
  • Provide mentorship for new teammates and spread good coding practices
  • Step beyond your comfort zone and promote and implement our company culture in Taipei

Requirements: 

  • 4+ years software engineering experience
  • Experience in web development and passion for building technology products 
  • Confident in one or a few of these languages: JavaScript, Java, C#, C++, C, Android, iOS, Python, PHP, SQL/MySQL
  • Embraces the breadth of responsibilities in a rapidly growing startup
  • Strong communication skills in English
  • BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or equivalent
