What's the Short Version?
The Sr Logistics Analyst is responsible for managing key enterprise-level supply chain projects. They provide support for on-going continuous improvement projects as well as future strategic supply chain project initiatives.
What Will You Be Doing?
- Work as subject matter expert for Domestic Logistic team for ERP implementation.
- Maintain configuration of tools used by Domestic Logistics team.
- Create and maintain KPIs for Domestic Logistics team.
- Act as project lead on optimization projects.
- Analyze large data sets in Excel to identify opportunities for within the supply chain.
- Build dashboards using Excel to explain/communicate e.g. inventory performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Partner with IT and other Supply Chain teams as appropriate for project implementation affecting multiple operational areas.
- Ensure ongoing improvements in our processes and internal procedures, and create a new supply chain reporting package.
- Act as systems thinker, business analyzer, barrier breaker, facilitator and a willingness to drive change.
- Provide project leadership and management (conceptualize, design, develop, communicate and implement.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Comply with all policies and standards.
What Are We Looking For?
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or Supply Chain Management or equivalent experience.
- 4-6 years experience in a supply chain/logistics management role.
- Strong desire to create a foundation, maintain operational excellence and contribute to the development of the supply chain.
- Ability to see how the parts connect to the whole operation and respond cross-functionally to meet production and business goals, quality standards and company values.
- Knowledge of many of the supply chain processes: Forecasting, planning, inventory. management, operations, manufacturing, procurement, sourcing, transportation, warehousing.
- Ability to proactively identify process and systems issues, develop alternative solutions and make recommendations for final resolution.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct user interviews, facilitate user design sessions, perform data analysis, apply structured systems design, testing and implementation methodology.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplined team environment and on individual assignments of varying degrees of ambiguity.
- Demonstrated process improvement ability to measure, analyze and improve personal and organizational methods and processes.
- Demonstrated change management skills to effectively lead teams through changes in processes, methods and tools.
- Excellent English language communication skills (verbal, written and presentation) are essential
- Ability to work with senior leaders of the organization.
What's Our Offer?
Salary Range: You`ll earn between $75,000 - $115,000 annually, depending on experience.
Bonus: You`ll be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus up to 10% of base salary.
Paid Time Off: You`ll accrue paid time off on a bi-weekly basis based on hours worked up to 112 hours per year to start. Employees also receive 8 paid holidays and 1 paid family day off.

Work environment is moderately quiet. Ability to work on computer for multiple hours with frequent interruptions.
SanMar's Eastpointe office is located near Seattle, WA and our standard working hours are 8:00-5:00 PST. Quarterly travel may be required.
