What's the Short Version?
The Product Quality Control (PQC) Coordinator role is responsible for supporting the Product Quality Control team with managing suspect or rejected inventory, responding to customer inquiries about product, administrative support of 3rd party audits, procedure writing (formatting), and PQC reporting. This position will place a high priority on helping to support the PQC team in managing increasing workload as well as allowing the team to focus on Product Quality Assurance/Quality Control strategies and a variety of improvement initiatives.
What Will You Be Doing?
- Support PQC management with business activities, reporting, process documentation.
- Correlate corresponding supplier inspection reports, 3rd party inspection reports, SanMar inspection reports and all invoicing for inspections
- Support, review, processing and follow up of requests from internal and external customers.
- Generate and distribute weekly or monthly Quality Assurance reports – highlight/share trends at PQC meetings.
- Generate and distribute Customer Inquiries, Return report or Sales report (to support confirmation of issue’s).
- Perform inventory transactions in our Warehouse Management System (WMS) and other internal systems to satisfy product requests from QC Specialist and internal partners, placing suspect product on hold.
- Process routine requests including: product requests from internal partners, returning product to inventory (when needed), researching and compiling data for current inventory, managing Product Quality holds and QC Hold Discrepancies.
- Work closely with QC Specialist on mill returns or buybacks by creating POs and compiling data when needed to assure credits are accurate for returned goods.
- Work Closely with PQC team on any other tasks and activities pertinent with a growing department with strategic plans.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

What Are We Looking For?
- 1-3 years of relevant education or experience.
- Capable of collecting, understanding, analyzing and reporting data for continued process improvement.
- Must have basic math skills.
- Must have proficient computer knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and Access.
- Displays flexibility, calmness, confidence, integrity and a “can do” attitude.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.

What's Our Offer?
Salary Range: You`ll earn between $21.39 - $27.90 on an hourly basis, depending on experience.
Bonus: You`ll be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus up to 5% of base salary.
Paid Time Off: You`ll accrue paid time off on a weekly basis based on hours worked up to 112 hours per year to start. Employees also receive 8 paid holidays and 1 paid family day off.

SanMar's Eastpointe office is located near Seattle, WA and our standard working hours are 8:00-5:00 PST. Quarterly travel may be required.
