What's the Short Version?
The Merchandising Coordinator is a support role for the Brand Management team. This role owns and assists in a wide variety of projects from single-element jobs to multi-layered procedures and projects related to the apparel product creation process. The Merchandising Coordinator is responsible for supporting the team by completing various assigned projects, maintaining multiple sample product lines, and executing administrative tasks. They work in close partnership with inter-department and cross-functional teams.
What Will You Be Doing?
- Own, track, and manage Merchandising sample lines; this include house line sample maintenance and sample sale product.
- Prepare meeting samples by pulling, prepping, and steaming for customer visits, management meetings, etc.
- Coordinate, prepare and distribute Salesforce tools and reports for Brand Management analytical use.
- Collaborate and provide general support for Brand Management team to help improve accuracy, speed and output.
- Contribute to the content creation for Brand Management team’s project management tool (Asana).
- Suggest process improvements, collaborate with team members, and assist in the workflow of projects and tasks.
- Support Operations as liaison to team to ensure Merchandising and Design deliverables are met; create seasonal documentation, tools and folder for team’s use.
- Assist in the creation of presentation packets and design collateral, such as Seasonal Presentations and Licensed Retail Brand partner documentation.
- Maintain seasonal tools such as libraries, directories, trackers, and various recaps and spreadsheets.
- Coordinate meeting components, including but not limited to: meeting invites, room set up, equipment needs, liaison with Facilities team.
- Act as timekeeper of management meetings for cross functional team members.
- Maintain color systems library and organization.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Comply with all policies and standards.
What Are We Looking For?
- 1-3 years experience in product related roles, customer service and/or corporate environment or equivalent education.
- Adobe Illustrator experience is preferred.
- Strong business orientation and analytical aptitude.
- Self-starter and seeks information proactively with the ability to think strategically.
- Ability to portray a positive approach while working independently as well as collaboratively with the team.
- Ability to work on multiple projects and tasks at a time and potentially switch projects, as necessary.
- Flexible and change agile while maintaining time management during conflicting priorities. Ability to seek guidance when needed.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, both oral and written.
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
What's Our Offer?
Salary Range: You`ll earn between $21.39 - $27.90 on an hourly basis, depending on experience.
Bonus: You`ll be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus up to $2,000.
Paid Time Off: You`ll accrue paid time off on a weekly basis based on hours worked up to 112 hours per year to start. Employees also receive 8 paid holidays and 1 paid family day off.

Office: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle or feel, and stand and walk. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Ability to work on computer and mobile phone for multiple hours; with frequent interruptions. The employee may be required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Work environment is moderately quiet. Required to travel in elevator or stairwells to attend meetings and engage with associates on multiple floors throughout building. SanMar's Eastpointe office is located near Seattle, WA and our standard working hours are 8:00-5:00 PST. Quarterly travel may be required.
