Position Overview:
Requires great Customer Service skills, insurance billing background, and strong communication skills
Supports admissions with admission deposit and possible payment plans.
Responsible for verifying that admission deposits have been collected at admissions and DocuSign documents have been uploaded, filled out and signed properly.
PFC is responsible for communication to family/patient regarding any financials. PFC responds to incoming calls and emails.
Qualifications:
Must have a minimum of 1-2 years hands-on experience in a fast-paced medical billing environment
Must have previous experience in a healthcare setting
Must have previous experience with CPT and ICD-10
Must have solid PC and application skills
The ability to handle a very high volume of work with speed and accuracy is essential
Must have the ability to understand and apply contract language to billing
