As a therapist, you will:

  • Provide individual, group, and family therapy to clients in our Medical Detox Facility in Chantilly and our Outpatient Treatment Centers in Reston and Alexandria
  • Fill in for other staff when needed, ensuring that our clients receive the best possible care at all times.
  • Work with a diverse and dynamic caseload, supporting clients with various diagnosis and levels of care.
  • Serve both young adult and adult populations, tailoring your interventions to their unique needs and goals.

 Qualifications:

  • You must have a valid license to practice in Virginia as a Resident in Counseling, LPC, LMSW, or LCSW
  • You must have prior experience in treating clients with substance abuse issues. We prefer candidates who have worked in residential and/or outpatient settings.
  • You must have prior experience in treating clients with mental health and mood disorders.
  • You should have proficiency in the following clinical skills and abilities:
    • Motivational Interviewing
    • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
    • Dialectical Behavior Therapy
    • Strong Documentation Skills
