This position will support clients (ages 18-30) in Intensive Outpatient Programming for mental health and co-occurring disorders. In this role you will:

  • Partner with clients to inspire and empower change by contributing to a high-performing culture.
  • Ensure quality and compliance by adhering to all aspects of the clinical programs policies and procedures, providing therapeutic services, including treatment planning, and coordinating clinical treatment services with families, and documenting treatment timely and accurately for the billing team.
  • Collaborate with the clinical team by participating in weekly meetings to discuss treatment formulation, progress, outcomes, discharge planning, follow-up care, and liaison communication (if necessary), as well as client utilization reviews and medical necessity discussions with insurance payors (if necessary)
  • Build and maintain good public relations by demonstrating the ability to express ideas clearly, concisely, convincingly, establishing and maintaining good rapport with families, referral agencies, and other community resources.
  • Participate in various activities and programs by joining committees and professional meetings and staffing as necessary for the functions of the program, assisting with the family in initiating court proceedings for the continuum of treatment for the client (if necessary), providing supportive leadership for community meetings and selected off-campus activities, participating in on- and off-campus activity programming, and participating in marketing activities.
  • Contribute to the facility-wide Performance Improvement Program by following the standards and guidelines of the program and performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: 

Education: Minimum of a master's degree in a Behavioral Health Science required (clinical social work, clinical psychology, marriage and family therapy, or a related field) 

Training & Experience: 

  • Required to be a licensed clinician in the state of Colorado (LPC, LCSW, LMFT)
  • Provisional Licenses will also be considered (LPCC, LSW, MFTC)
  • Previous experience with substance use treatment is required.
  • Preferred experience with a treatment facility in residential, partial hospitalization (PHP), and/or intensive outpatient (IOP) setting.
