About the Role

You Belong at Sandstone Care

You are passionate about helping individuals who struggle with substance use and mental health issues. You understand the unique challenges and needs of this population, and you want to provide them with the best possible care. You are looking for a career that allows you to use your skills and knowledge to make a positive impact on their lives.

But you know that not all treatment centers are the same. Many of them do not offer comprehensive and integrated care for dual diagnosis clients. Many of them do not value your input or support your professional development. Many of them do not foster a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion.

That’s why you need Sandstone Care.

Working at Sandstone Care is different - because Sandstone Care is different. We hire compassionate people and give them the training and resources that let them change lives for the better.  We embrace diversity within our team and ensure that our clients have the chance to connect with individuals who can empathize with and understand their unique experiences. We are committed to ensuring our clients and employees feel seen, accepted, and respected.

As a Therapist at Sandstone Care You Will:

    • Work with a team of dedicated professionals who share your mission and vision. You will join a supportive and collaborative culture that values your expertise and input and offers you ongoing training and development opportunities.
    • Provide compassionate and essential care to your clients, guiding them through their recovery journey and helping them achieve their goals. You will build trusting and meaningful relationships with your clients and empower them to overcome their challenges and reach their full potential.
    • Lead group therapy for your case load (8-12 clients), creating a safe and supportive community where clients can connect and learn from each other. You will facilitate engaging and interactive group sessions, using various modalities and techniques to address the needs and interests of your clients.
    • Provide individual sessions tailored to each client's needs, using the best practices and evidence-based interventions in the field. You will assess and diagnose your clients and design personalized treatment plans that align with their strengths and preferences. You will use a variety of approaches, such as cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, motivational interviewing, and family therapy, to help your clients achieve their goals and improve their well-being.
    • Develop and oversee treatment plans, tracking the progress of your clients and collaborating with our multidisciplinary team to ensure a holistic and effective approach. You will monitor and evaluate your clients' outcomes and adjust their treatment plans as needed. You will also communicate and coordinate with other professionals, such as psychiatrists, nurses, case managers, and educators, to provide comprehensive and integrated care for your clients.

We also understand that you have a life outside of work, and we support your well-being and balance. Join us and discover why Sandstone Care is a great place to be yourself. You’ll also make a positive impact on the lives of teens and young adults who need our help. So, the work is really rewarding, too.

We also offer you opportunities to advance your career and develop your skills. We provide you with the training and resources you need to deliver evidence-based and individualized treatment plans. Whatever your decision, it will not be considered in the hiring process or thereafter. Any information that you do provide will be recorded and maintained in a confidential file.

Race & Ethnicity Definitions

If you believe you belong to any of the categories of protected veterans listed below, please indicate by making the appropriate selection. As a government contractor subject to the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA), we request this information in order to measure the effectiveness of the outreach and positive recruitment efforts we undertake pursuant to VEVRAA. Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
