Position Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled, thoughtful, and collaborative Software Engineer – Tools and Automation to help design and develop the next generation of NEONs and delivering this innovative technology to a wide user base. As a part of the technical team, you’ll solve challenging problems and provide input into both product roadmaps and development approaches. Our team is based in Mountain View, California. However, remote work is negotiable for this position!

Responsibilities

  • Develop, test, and maintain the build /deployment scripts to automate and streamline the development process
  • Assist in automation, continuous development, build, and software configuration management effort
  • Perform root cause analysis for error on development and production systems
  • Research, suggest, and apply new promising technologies, strategies, and ways to solve technical issues related to build and deployment

Requirements

  • 2+ years of Python experience
  • Scripting experience using bash, python or similar
  • Familiarity with JIRA, Git, GitHub Actions, CircleCI or Jenkins
  • Knowledge about infrastructure tools like Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform and CloudFormation
  • Previous experience automating software build and deployment processes
  • Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and AWS APIs for build tools

A little extra:

  • Deep understanding of GitHub Actions
  • Experience with C++

Physical Requirements

This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers, and reach with hands and arms.
