Position Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled, thoughtful, and collaborative Software Engineer – ML Platform to help design and develop the next generation of NEONs and delivering this innovative technology to a wide user base. As a part of the technical team, you’ll solve challenging problems and provide input into both product roadmaps and development approaches. Our team is based in Mountain View, California. However, remote work is negotiable for this position!

Responsibilities

  • Manage data pipelines, train/deploy ML models, develop external facing APIs, and build out infrastructure.
  • Ensure reliability and repeatability of data preprocessing, model training and evaluation pipelines.
  • Design and develop custom tools for machine learning model training, evaluation, debugging, optimization, hyperparameter tuning, and benchmarking.
  • Develop processes to enable a fast research to production lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Ability to write efficient, clean, and reusable code.
  • 3+ years of experience with Python.
  • Experience with Docker, CI/CD tools, orchestration technologies (Kubernetes), autoscaling, and monitoring
  • Experience in building and maintaining machine learning models in a production environment.
  • 3+ years of experience with scalable data pipeline.
  • Familiarity with Pytorch
  • Experience with C++.

A little extra:

  • Experience with machine learning training and deployment technologies on the cloud, e.g., AWS Sagemaker.

This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers, and reach with hands and arms.
