Roles and Responsibilities:

Job Summary/Overview:

Samsung Austin Semiconductor (SAS) is seeking a highly motivated individual with strong communication skills, initiative, attention to detail, customer service, and flexibility to join the Procurement department as a Service Contract Supervisor. The Service Contract Supervisor is responsible for overseeing multiple projects, which may include, but are not limited to cost analysis, negotiation, supplier management, and contract. The role requires the ability to organize and manage projects and do multi-tasking, working with internal stakeholders (Engineering, Finance, HQ, etc) and vendors. This position works within a dynamic and demanding 24/7 manufacturing environment, optimizing terms and conditions and price.

Specific Job Duties:

Responsible for overseeing all Contract Negotiations related to the servicing of Fab, sub-fab, and Lab Equipment
Collaborate with Legal, Finance and internal customers to develop tailored terms and conditions to address needed services
Manage on-time renewals of all service contracts and oversee the renewal of other legal documents; i.e. NDA, MSA, etc.
Analyze trends in the semiconductor market and labor market
Developing and sustaining partnerships with company-approved vendors
Initiate and lead meetings with internal stakeholders and vendors regarding scope of work
Responsible for creating high-level reports for executives
In-state and/or out-of-state travel may be required

Shift: 1st: Mon-Fri 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Skills and Qualifications:

Education, Training, Certification(s) and Minimum years of experience required:

BA or BS Degree
6+ years’ experience of strategic sourcing, procurement, or contract negotiations
Semiconductor industry experience a plus
SAP experience preferred
CPM, CPSM, or CPIM certification a plus

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Software, and Tools:

Ability to analyze complex data and draw actionable insights
Ability to organize and manage projects and do multi-tasking
Clear and concise communication skills with written and verbal of project status to the immediate team and internal teams
Problem-solving and initiative to take control and resolve issues quickly
Strong people skills to develop positive, trusting working relationships both internally and externally
