Small Business is one of Samsara’s fastest-growing customer segments. We are looking for a hands-on Small Business Marketing Manager who is excited to join our Marketing team as the first marketer at Samsara exclusively focused on this critical part of our business.
In this role, you will have end-to-end responsibility for identifying, designing, and executing marketing activities that accelerate growth of the Small Business Segment. Example projects include driving inbound leads, providing collateral and tools to improve sales conversion and shorten sales cycles, and identifying and breaking into new industry verticals.
You will need the following skills to be successful in this role:
Excellent communication and storytelling skills (written, verbal, and visual)
Analytical and operational skills to scale campaigns and manage budgets
A deep sense of ownership
The desire to work with the full suite of marketing tools (e.g., ads, partnerships, collateral, virtual events, promotions, etc.)
Comfortable working in a fast-moving organization with short design / test / scale cycles – rapid execution and development is key
Excited about working on both longer-term business-building activities as well as on short-term tactical efforts
Authentic interest in engaging with a growing sales team and directly impacting sales effectiveness
2-4 years of experience in marketing or similar
Hands-on experience with B2B email marketing, demand-gen campaigns, and content creation are nice to have
