At Samsara, we invest in our people and hiring is a team effort that is crucial to our success. We are looking for an experienced Recruiting Director to lead our growing EMEA recruiting function. You will use your experience in full-cycle recruiting to lead, mentor, and grow a team of 7+ recruiters. These recruiters are hiring for all areas of the business (technical, sales, G&A). This role reports into the Head of People Operations. 

In this role you will:

  • Champion, role model, and embed Samsara’s cultural principles (Obsess Over the Customer, Build for the Long Term, Growth Mindset) as we scale globally and across new offices   

  • Hire, develop, and lead an inclusive, engaged, and high performing team

  • Partner with senior leaders across the organisation to understand their hiring objectives and develop recruiting strategies to hit headcount goals

  • Exceed a quarterly team hiring quota

  • Work with management to define consistent data-driven hiring metrics and goals

  • Define and execute on recruitment strategy for new markets as we scale out across EMEA region 

  • Recruit for senior roles within the organisation if and when there is a need

  • Continue to drive D&I and as events initiatives to build brand awareness and positive office culture

  • Build out recruiting strategies in new offices across EMEA


An ideal candidate has:

  • 6+ years experience in full-cycle recruiting; minimum 3 years of leadership experience.

  • BA/BS degree

  • Demonstrated ability to hire great talent

  • Experience setting goals and managing the performance, development and work product of others

  • Ability to lead a team in sourcing and hiring both high volume as well as strategic leadership positions

  • In-depth experience with ATS systems and a good understanding of the Talent Operations function
