Samsara is looking for a People Data Coordinator to join our team! In this role, you will ensure data integrity throughout our people systems and processes. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to launch their career in HR Operations.
The People Data Coordinator is a brand new role at Samsara. With our accelerated growth (over 100+ hires monthly!) there are constant changes happening in HR systems. Your main priority will be to own a variety of audit processes to ensure that the right data is going into each of our systems.
You are passionate about clean data and its ability to drive effective decision-making. You live and breathe excel spreadsheets and do v-lookups and pivot tables in your dreams.
New Hire Data: Own audits of all incoming new hire data into HRIS system
Background Checks: Own sending and reviewing background check reports for incoming new hires
Employee Support: Respond to incoming questions and feedback from employees
Data Integrity: Conduct regular audits of people data
Special Projects: Assist other People Operations staff with special projects on an as needed basis.
1+ years experience in HR/Payroll/Operations; preferably in fast-growing, global companies
Excellent problem-solving capabilities and judgment; ability to make sound decisions independently; solutions-oriented; thrives in ambiguity
Strong analytical and project management skills, proven ability to design and communicate clear processes, and a detail-oriented yet flexible approach to problem solving
Impeccable discretion when handling sensitive and confidential information
Excellent self-management and interpersonal skills
Strong bias for action and not afraid to “roll up your sleeves”
