Samsara is looking for a welcoming and ambitious Front Desk Coordinator to support the rapidly growing London, UK office. This role is located in our European Headquarters in London.

As a Front Desk Coordinator, you will be the first point of contact for the company. You will handle the flow of people through the business and ensure that all front desk responsibilities are completed accurately and in a timely manner. You will also be responsible for coordinating various office tasks and functions to ensure the office runs smoothly at all times.

Responsibilities:

  • Own all things at reception and curate the perfect first impression

  • Greet guests and ensure sign-in and host notification is complete 

  • Sign out guests and ensure security procedures are followed at all times

  • Keep the lobby tidy, visitor-ready, and foster it as an information hub for all employees  

  • Receive and sort daily mail, shipments, and couriers

  • Enforce security policies and procedures to ensure a safe workplace, including managing access profiles 

  • Monitor and respond to our internal ticketing system and various other communication portals. 

  • Be the jack of all trades and know how to respond to a range of requests and help support all departments 

  • Maintain office cleanliness and supply levels of stationary and SWAG items

  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls in a professional manner

  • Work closely with the Atlanta, San Francisco and San Jose based facilities team members to provide an amazing and consistent experience for all visitors, guests and employees 

  • General administrative duties as needed

  • Assist with new hire orientation and desk set-up as needed

  • Help organise and execute team events 

  • Maintain the office to operate like a well-run machine

Requirements:

  • Ability to multitask, prioritise, and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

  • Solid verbal and written communication skills 

  • Ability to be resourceful and proactive in dealing with and resolving issues 

  • Proficiency in Google Suite/Microsoft Office
