Samsara’s IoT solution – which includes technologies for fleets ranging from GPS tracking to route optimization and AI-powered dash cameras – is being adopted by thousands of new customers every quarter.
We are seeking a results-driven, operationally minded Customer Marketing Program Manager to build and drive a best-in-class customer reference program. The customer reference program will provide the structure and process necessary to connect our prospects and internal Samsara teams to our customers references at scale. This program is mission critical to increasing customer advocacy, loyalty, and retention to benefit Samsara’s long-term growth.
Launch a customer reference program: Build a robust customer reference program from scratch; including architecting the reference tracking system with Sales Operations, defining the program structure and workflows, managing internal/external launch and training needs, identifying and onboarding the initial pilot reference customers
Drive and grow the customer reference program: Ensure customer reference tracking is accurate and content is up-to-date; continuously audit, recruit, and onboard new strategic reference customers
Enable key internal stakeholders with customer placements: Source customer presenters for high-priority in-person or digital engagements led by other Samsara teams such as Marketing, Product, and Communications; support with customer selection and ensure a positive customer experience throughout the engagement
Build and maintain a Customer Story library: Create and maintain a library of customer stories and quotes for use by all Samsara teams
Measure program/asset effectiveness: Analyze the ongoing performance of the program to improve reference efficacy and help drive program adoption
An ideal candidate has:
2-4+ years of experience in program management, marketing, and/or operations
A passion for serving and working with customers
Outstanding project management and organizational skills with an ability to prioritize amidst many moving pieces
Strong interpersonal skills to help nurture customer relationships and work with cross-functional teams
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Analytical chops to measure the effectiveness of the Customer Reference program
Attention to detail and a commitment to exceptional work are part of your personal philosophy
Experience working in fast-paced environment
Bachelor's degree or higher
