Samsara is seeking talented and driven Account Executives to expand our enterprise Industrial IoT business. This is an opportunity to work in an early stage startup atmosphere as you will be on the ground floor working with engineering and product management to tackle a new market that Samsara is pursuing. You should be an energetic evangelist who’s passionate about helping our customers digitally transform their industrial operations. You should have a history of over-achievement (Presidents Club, etc.) and be comfortable selling into all levels of an enterprise organization in both technology and other lines of business. This position will ideally be based in or around the Atlanta, GA, area.
5+ years experience in a full-cycle, closing sales role
Proven track record of consistent quota over-achievement
Experience handling and owning enterprise deal sizes
Experience selling to industrial customers or selling control systems (recommended, not required)
Willing and comfortable with strategic outbound prospecting
Excited about the opportunity to work closely with Product Management to deliver deal-winning functionality
Excellent interpersonal skills
Regional travel required
In your first week, you'll:
Travel to Samsara HQ in San Francisco for a week of New Hire Training
Attend a variety of different onboarding sessions, where you'll: receive a thorough introduction to our leadership team, be immersed in our product offerings and meet our CEO, Sanjit Biswas, in a "Samsara 101" class
Meet your team and fellow new hire cohort
Shadow cold-calls, product demos, etc.
