Samsara is looking for a Business Operations Manager interested in helping steer a fast-growing IoT startup.
Working closely with a senior management team that has successfully built and exited a billion-dollar business, you will help scale our revenue-generating operations, increase sales efficiency, and develop new business processes. This is a multi-faceted role where you will work cross-functionally with our sales team, operations, marketing, and product managers. We are seeking people with a passion for technology who are eager to pursue a variety of projects in a fast-moving environment. Validated analytical and interpersonal skills are a requirement; a quantitative or technical background is also useful. This position is based in our San Francisco HQ location.
Quickly tackling sales process friction in the moment, while developing long-term solutions
Visualizing and implementing processes needed to scale our fast-growing sales team
Analyzing sales performance at a team and individual level to understand key performance indicators and translate to actionable mentorship strategies
Running incentive-based compensation programs to drive sales momentum
Translating hiring plans and performance goals into the company’s operating model to understand impacts to cash flows and path to profitability
Strong organizational skills, ability to handle projects end-to-end
Excellent analytical skills to understand sales data at a company and individual sales rep level; deep understanding of Excel or equivalent analytical tools is a requirement
4-8 years of experience in a top consulting firm, investment banking, or similar
Bachelor's degree or higher from a top university; MBA or Masters, or specialization in finance, economics, business, or engineering focus is a plus
