Samsara’s Product team works to bring our disruptive IoT technology to market, accelerating the adoption of sensor data to improve industrial efficiency at a massive scale. As a Product Specialist, you’ll use your robust product knowledge and deep understanding of the customer experience to further this goal.
You will represent the voice of Samsara’s customers internally, collecting & categorizing user feedback, identifying trends and sharing insights. You will work closely with Product Management to identify solutions and directly influence the roadmap, enabling us to provide a world-class customer experience. This may involve:
Distilling actionable insights from multiple feedback channels including NPS surveys, customer support tickets and bug reports, feature requests, and more
Communicating with customers by phone and email to learn about their operations and identify the most important problems that we could solve for them
Packaging quantitative and qualitative product insights by theme and priority
Becoming a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on specific product areas for internal & external audiences
Partnering with Product & Engineering to identify & prioritize product and process enhancements to improve the customer experience
An ideal candidate has:
Bachelor’s degree or higher
1-3 years of experience in a customer facing role. Customer service is a plus.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be comfortable with customers and internal audiences
Natural empathy and a passion for working with customers to improve their experience
Strong organizational skills. Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and deadlines
Proven analytical skills to build insights from quantitative and qualitative data
Bias-to-action and hands-on experience delivering business results. You’re not afraid to get your hands dirty.
