In this role, you will meticulously plan & execute Samsara’s internal events including our bi-yearly sales conference, incentive trips, company holiday parties, launch parties and more. Partnering across all departments, this role will lead engaging and valuable events contributing to the culture of Samsara!
Develop, plan and run internal events including sales incentive programs, sales conferences, product launch parties, company gatherings and more
Manage overall program planning & execution including stakeholder interlock, executive level approvals, timelines, budgets, vendors, floor plans, catering, facilities set up/breakdown, collateral production, registration, hotel room blocks, signage, etc.
Manage multiple concurrent events/programs with overlapping schedules
Develop and manage program budget, reconciliation, & expenses and notify manager of status
Understand Samsara’s brand and collaborate on and contribute to developing overall event experiences that reflect it
Drive internal communications and promotion of events, liaison with other departments
Establish success criteria and analyze event impact; prepare stakeholder and executive-level post-event follow up and make recommendations for improvement
Bring energy, creativity, and new ideas to build a successful event experience
3-5 years of experience in event marketing, people operations, and/or project management
30-40% travel required for live events
Strong communication, negotiation, and budget-management skills, with the ability to work across all levels of an organization
Extraordinary attention to detail
Ability to thrive in a rapidly changing environment and run multiple concurrent project demands within established timelines
