Are you looking to help lead one of the fastest growing startups in history? Samsara is an Internet of Things company valued at over €3B and growing at over 250% annually. We are looking for an ambitious, entrepreneurial person to bring Samsara to Europe.
You will play a vital role in all aspects of growing Samsara’s business in your focus market (multiple roles available, each focused on a specific market). You will work to enable the sales team to sell, drive customer acquisition initiatives, and build on-the ground resources required for your team to be successful. You will partner with all corporate functions to deliver sales performance in your markets, and will be the global point of contact for your market.
As this is a multi-faceted role, we are seeking a highly versatile and well-rounded leader who can create and drive strategy as well as roll up their sleeves to clear obstacles and build pieces of the business themselves.
We are looking for candidates with excellent analytical skills, strong writing and presentation skills, and a passion for working in customer-facing roles. A proven track record of leadership, both of direct reports and through influencing, and strong project-management skills are a must. A quantitative or technical background is a big plus.
This role is located in our European headquarters in London.
Examples of day-to-day responsibilities:
Directly responsible for sales and pipeline goals in your target market
Work directly with the sales team to understand market needs and lead efforts to find product / market fit and sales motion / market fit
Identify, plan, and execute outbound activities to drive growth
Coordinate inbound efforts - define market needs and partner with the Growth function to execute inbound lead generation activities
Coordinate marketing efforts - define market needs and partner with the Marketing function to execute marketing activities
Leverage data to understand our customers and our funnel in depth, identify areas of opportunity and execute projects to drive customer growth, retention, engagement, and/or revenue
Define initiatives to improve market performance across multiple time horizons (individual deals, quarterly, rest of FY), secure resources, and drive to completion
Lead relationship with global functions (sales, marketing, product, support, finance, operations, etc.) to problem-solve issues and ensure adequate resourcing for your market
