Samsara is looking for a People Operations Generalist to join our team! In this role, you will ensure premium support of employees in key Moments that Matter - from leave of absences to mobility and more. You will be responsible for ensuring that all of our immigration, mobility and LOA processes and company policies are impactful, scalable, compliant and aligned with our principles.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Leave of Absence: Develop and maintain key policies, structure, vendor relationships and processes to ensure premium employee support during times of need
  • Global Mobility: Develop and manage a global mobility platform that will allow Samsara employees to transition to multiple locations as we grow both domestically and globally
  • Immigration: Own administration and provide support for employee immigration needs
  • Global Policies: Partner with People Ops leadership on global policies, employee handbooks, leave policy framework and review/align best practice development
  • Audits: Conduct audits to ensure compliance with local and national labor laws and company policies.
  • Employee Support: Provide timely and accurate information regarding Human Resources processes, personnel policies, and procedures
  • Special Projects: Assist other People Operations staff with special projects on an as needed basis.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years experience in HR; preferably in fast-growing, global companies
  • Excellent problem-solving capabilities and judgment; ability to make sound decisions independently; solutions-oriented; thrives in ambiguity
  • Strong analytical and project management skills, proven ability to design and communicate clear processes, and a detail-oriented yet flexible approach to problem solving
  • Impeccable discretion when handling sensitive and confidential information
  • Excellent self-management and interpersonal skills
  • Strong bias for action and not afraid to “roll up your sleeves”
