Samsara is looking for our first international People Ops hire to support our scaling our European Headquarter located in London. The People Partner, EMEA lead is responsible for crafting the employee experience from hire to retire.
We are looking for an individual who can focus on the big picture of growth while maintaining executional excellence in the details. Starter projects include UK new hire onboarding, leadership development, performance management process, analytics, individual coaching, etc.
Provide strategic & operational support for our international growth in EMEA
Proactively provide creative and engaging solutions to motivate employees at different career points and stages
Coach leaders and people managers to proactively manage employees and provide advice and guidance on varying employee topics and issues
Drive and support performance management processes across the team
Improve the employee experience for the full life cycle: onboarding, career planning, performance management, coaching, data analysis, compensation and rewards, employee relations, learning and development, recognition programs.
BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
7+ years of HR business partner or generalist experience supporting senior leaders or management consulting
A combination of HR experience in the following areas: Organizational design, succession planning, performance management, diversity and inclusion, business consulting, compensation and rewards, recognition programs, culture keeper, employee engagement, coaching and development, talent acquisition, data analysis, and employee relations.
A clear, approachable, and proactive communication style and strong customer service orientation
Ability to work well as a remote People Ops team member through ensuring a collaborative and communicative engagement with the team
Excellent self-management and interpersonal skills
Strong bias for action and not afraid to “roll up your sleeves”
