We are looking for an ambitious, entrepreneurial leader to define and drive our original equipment manufacturer (OEM) partnerships strategy in order to bring the benefits of Samsara to large new groups of customers by finding innovative ways to embed our products in a variety of equipment and unpowered assets. OEM partnerships is a vast new channel, representing a large opportunity for Samsara to acquire new customers and increase its rate of growth. This is a highly visible role that will work closely with Product Management, Sales, Operations, and other core functions.
The title of Manager or Director will be dependent on candidate qualifications.
Lead formation of OEM partnerships strategy, identifying the most effective path to rapid growth
Engage with leading OEMs, demonstrating significant shared value and generating excitement for the partnership’s potential
Lead end-to-end contracting process, structuring services to be provided and commercial terms
Collaborate cross-functionally to rapidly form and scale partnerships
Do what it takes to deliver upon our commitments to partners and enable the partnerships to evolve and flourish
8-12 years of relevant experience
Ambitious, entrepreneurial leader
Structured thinker with the ability to create and execute a cohesive strategy
Proven track record of negotiating complex commercial contracts
Technical acumen to deeply understand our platform and operational capabilities; ability to extrapolate technical concepts onto partnership dialogues (engineering experience not required)
Experience leading large, cross-functional teams to deliver complex projects
