Growth and Business Operations Manager

Samsara is a startup valued at $3.6B and growing 250% annually (which is like really, really fast). That said, we’re still small relative to the opportunity ahead so we need your help!

What does Samsara actually do? We build sensor data platforms for connected operations. Our customers drive the economy -- everything from food to medicine to waste removal to manufacturing -- and we’re committed to helping them improve safety, efficiency, and quality. We do this by placing our sensors in difficult to reach parts of our customer’s operations and unifying their data in an intuitive, action oriented dashboard.  Our initial focus has been on fleets of commercial vehicles however we’re quickly expanding into additional verticals such as Machine Vision and Industry 4.0.

We are looking for an ambitious, entrepreneurial leader to accelerate the growth and profitability of our business.  Basically, you’ll be responsible for conception, design, and execution of a series of step changes in business performance while simultaneously ensuring that short term revenue, margin, and cash flow targets are met.  Simple, right?... Examples of cross-functional strategic programs you can drive include expanding into new geographies, developing sales acceleration programs, launching new customer facing capabilities, and leading planning & analysis activities to help steer the company's exponential growth.  This is a highly visible role that works closely with Sales, Product, Support, Operations, Finance, and other core functions…so pretty much everyone in the organization. It is also a unique vantage point from which to contribute to Samsara’s rapid growth.

This role is based in San Francisco with occasional travel.
