Samsara relies on innovative marketing campaigns to reach new customers, and we rely on data to make intelligent decisions about where to invest. We are seeking a collaborative and intellectually curious analyst to help us evaluate, accelerate, and scale our marketing programs, and to lead the way in ensuring data integrity across leads, campaigns, and opportunities. In this position, you will generate creative solutions to operational challenges, build tools to streamline processes and analyze campaign effectiveness, and increase overall marketing operational efficiency.
Manage the systems required to generate leads. Troubleshoot and QA campaigns, workflows, and data issues as needed.
Leverage Salesforce, marketing automation tools, and other programs to build new workflows, fields, and reports -- thereby enabling new types of marketing campaigns and/or metrics tracking.
Track and analyze campaign effectiveness across cross-functional marketing teams. Streamline reporting processes, and build/maintain dynamic dashboards of campaign performance. Provide strategic recommendations for marketing investment based on campaign data, web analytics, conversion rates, etc.
Collaborate with Sales Operations and Growth teams, drive systems integration projects, and help develop operational best practices and documentation to help Samsara grow.
3+ years of work experience in marketing, consulting, or an analytical role
Bachelor's degree or higher from a top university; business, finance, economics or engineering focus is a plus; MBA is optional
Energetic, highly collaborative, and exceptional organization/attention to detail
Able to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Experience with Salesforce.com, web analytics, and marketing automation programs
Experience writing scripts, SQL, python, etc. a big plus
