Samsara is seeking a Senior Salesforce Administrator to design and implement solutions in Salesforce to optimize internal sales operations. As a critical member of the sales systems team, you will work closely with senior management to strategically design and implement Salesforce functionality for long-term, global scalability. This is a multi-faceted role where you will work multi-functionally with our Sales, Product, Growth, Marketing, and Finance teams. This position is based in our San Francisco HQ.
Strategically design, build, and support Salesforce processes to increase the efficiency of the sales organization and reduce sales cycle friction
Proactively identify potential improvements and optimize end-user experience across the Salesforce platform
Deploy, troubleshoot, and manage changes to help build a scalable and secure high performing Salesforce org
Identify and develop Salesforce best practices in a global cross-functional environment
Be an expert for all things Salesforce
Demonstrated understanding of Salesforce best practices for long-term scalability at a global sales org
Thorough understanding of custom objects, fields, validation rule, workflow rules, process flows, and visual workflow--and knowledge of which situations are appropriate for each
Understanding of the Salesforce sharing model, profiles, role hierarchies, connected apps, and the Salesforce.com API.
Excellent communication skills and a proven record of delivering on strategic sales systems initiatives
Salesforce Advanced Administrator certification (ADM 211) or equivalent experience
Ideal candidates will have:
Platform Developer I/II certification or other Salesforce certifications
Experience owning a large-scale Salesforce system and its processes
Salesforce Trailhead badges and Superbadges (please provide a link to public Trailhead profile if possible)
