Samsara is looking for a smart, ambitious Sales Administrator interested in helping steer a fast-growing IoT startup. Working with a senior management team that has successfully built and exited a billion-dollar business, you will support our enterprise sales team in an administrative role. This is a multi-faceted role where you will work directly with enterprise sales representatives, leadership and our largest customers on responding to RFPs, scheduling meetings and working in Salesforce. We are seeking people with a passion for helping others and who are eager to help in a diverse set of areas. Proven problem solving and communication skills are required, and usage of Salesforce is a big plus. This position is based in our San Jose office.
Provide comprehensive sales operational support, including but not limited to scheduling meetings, arranging warranty exchanges and working within Salesforce, for example, building revenue opportunities, preparing quotes, and processing exchanges
Quickly solve sales pain points in the moment, while developing long-term solutions
Communicate with our largest customers by phone and email to solve problems quickly
Handling contract questions, and coordinating the purchase of small add-ons to existing deals
General administrative duties as needed
Organized, professional, able to multi-task, and have a high attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
Solid communication skills both written and verbal
Comfort communicating on the phone with senior staff from client offices
Ability to be resourceful and proactive in dealing with issues that may arise
Experience working on RFPs, and/or dealing with contracts is a big plus
Bachelor's degree or higher
