Samsara is searching for a reliable, ambitious, and task-oriented Executive Assistant who will work directly with our executives and will be responsible for performing a number of administrative duties. The ideal candidate is highly self-motivated, capable of managing a big workload, and can prioritize tasks in a fast-paced startup environment.
In this role, you will work closely with our leadership team and the rest of the organization by providing administrative support as we scale our organization. You will handle the responsibilities below in an accurate and timely manner, and will report directly to our Head of People Operations.
Manage and optimize multiple executive calendars
Plan and book complex travel itineraries
Help organize and plan for internal events like team off-sites
Coordinate executive communications, including taking meeting minutes and responding to emails
Assist in creating and managing agendas for departmental staff meetings
General administrative duties and special projects as needed
Minimum of 2+ years of experience as an Executive Assistant
Strong organizational, project management and problem-solving skills
Ability to organize, multi-task, prioritize and work under pressure
Strong communication skills both written and verbal
Ability to be resourceful and proactive in dealing with issues that may arise
Ability to keep sensitive information confidential
Familiarity with a startup office environment and strong understanding of how business works
