Machine Learning in Mathematical, Scientific and Engineering Applications. (AI4S)
Design, develop, optimize, debug, test and deploy complex software models for mathematical, scientific, engineering and artificial intelligence applications using SambaNova’s hardware/software vertically integrated platform.
You may work directly with customers to understand their need and help them optimize their applications in multi-levels (Algorithm, Kernel, Compiler) to run on SambaNova DataScale systems in the most efficient way.
You may work directly with hardware design teams to influence next-generation architecture decisions.
Requirement: (Demonstrate or show strong potential through classes/projects/internship/research/work experiences.)
Applied Math/Physics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
Strong mathematical fundamentals: Statistics, Probability Theory, Linear Algebra, Partial Differential Equations.
Programming proficiency in one or several languages.
Strong debugging skills
Familiar with fundamentals of Machine Learning.
Familiar with Computer Architecture.
Passionate about ML/HPC at an algorithmic and infrastructure level.
Not required, but a plus:
Understanding of modern ML platforms and backend systems
Familiar with programming interfaces (CUDA, OpenCL)
HPC application R&D experience in research labs, oil and gas, media and entertainment, and financial services.
