Samanage is growing quickly and looking for a Senior Manager, Sales Operations professional to help drive measurable improvements in sales productivity and lead generation activities.  The sales Operations manager will bring an analytical problem-solving approach, relentless drive and a sharp focus on taking steps that impact our business.  

Here is what you will do:

  • Identify and eliminate sales process bottlenecks and inconsistencies
  • Support sales development team, including training, coaching, process development & system support
  • Support/own key sales business processes (sales forecasting, planning, commissions’ execution, etc.)
  • Work with sales management and other stakeholders to identify the sales target opportunity and assign quotas & territories
  • Analyze sales pipeline data to monitor pipeline coverage, and to highlight risks and opportunities
  • Work with management to administer and improve sales incentive compensation programs
  • Work with accounting, finance, etc. to ensure corporate sales compliance
  • Lead Salesforce.com projects, working closely with SFDC administration, prioritization & executing projects to realize the best possible return on these investments, and to drive efficiencies for Sales
  • Produce and review actionable and accurate sales reporting and BI tools for reps, managers, and sales leaders
  • Data stewardship for the integrity of business critical data attributes
  • Identify error trends/patterns and isolate discrepancies in the data
  • Consult regularly with others in the sales and operations departments, such as Executives, Sales Managers, Customer Success Manager, and Finance to discuss trends, errors, and all data findings
  • Drive training initiatives, including sales skills training, effective use of Saleforce.com and general process & procedures

What we see in you:

  • 5+ years of demonstrated success in a Sales Ops, Business Ops, or similar role, using analysis and process improvement to drive change and fuel revenue growth
  • Proficiency in Salesforce. Ability to develop, create and maintain customized reports and dashboards
  • Ability to understand high-level sales strategies, translate them into system and process requirements, and ensure local execution and business impact
  • Lead generation experience required
  • Knowledge of analytical tools such as Tableau is a plus
  • Strong analytical skills – experience producing, consuming, and acting on analyses
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment that rewards a creative, hands-on approach
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks; strong organizational and project management skills
  • Must possess strong sense of urgency and personal accountability for results
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written, a must
  • Recognition of own strengths and weaknesses, and continuous pursuit of feedback and self-development
