We're Looking For an Assistant Location Manager, Fulfillment to join our team and work with us to deliver logistics and customer service to our Members at our newest logistics hub in Columbus, OH. This role will ensure that we successfully meet service level agreements and meet a range of operational goals. The ideal candidate for this role should have experience in managing fulfillment operations, a strong track record of building great operations teams, and a command of process that enables you to effectively coach and train our Fulfillment Specialists.

The Role Consists Of

  • Support the location operations manager with day-to-day duties, including receiving, replenishment, consolidation, picking, packing and shipping e-commerce orders to meet service level agreements
  • Execute strategic initiatives related to safety, quality, accuracy, retention, productivity, and other key performance indicators
  • Provide purpose, direction and motivation to your hourly workforce
  • Participate in the full life-cycle of people management, including hiring, onboarding, and training
  • Lift up to 49 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications

  • 1+ years management experience with direct responsibility for employees and their performance
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule dependent on demand
  • Exceptional interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Past involvement in continuous improvement efforts
  • Demonstrated problem solving ability and analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university preferred (supply chain, logistics, operations, business administration, or a related field)
  • Prior leadership role in military, fulfillment, distribution, or third party logistics environments
  • Prior training in the use of powered industrial trucks, including counterbalanced forklifts, reach trucks, and rider pallet jacks preferred (Training Available)
