Your role in our mission

The Junior Data Analyst will be responsible for helping the team with the development and creation of day to day business reports and business analysis. They will work with business teams to help the business develop a deeper understanding of data and help provide insight into business performance as well as helping the business run operationally. They will work within the Business Intelligence team working with the other Analysts, Developers and Architects to help improve and build out the businesses reporting suite.

What you’ll do

Interacting with staff to gather clear requirements and helping to prioritise these requirements.
Create reports and reporting schemas and views to make data easily accessible for the wider organisation.
Analytical support by coordinating data extraction from various databases and providing easy to digest interpretation.
Providing and maintaining clearly designed and easy to digest data visualisations, including dashboards and drill-down reporting
Communicating the implications of the analysis to upper management and other relevant stakeholders clearly.
Ensuring contractual reporting is sent promptly and accurately.
Documenting reports and reporting systems and ensure existing documentation is up to date and exists for all regular and ad-hoc reporting
Analyse data and translate findings into meaningful insights, integrating relevant business knowledge as well as learning from other projects/sources.
Utilise data to explore and explain business drivers, performance and propositions.
Adhere to good systems development methodology
Ensure data integrity is maintained and checked with each new data model

About you
