Your role in our mission

We’re looking for a Business Analyst (Maternity Cover) to join our Operations Team. You’ll be responsible for ensuring that our payment and client facing processes are efficient and that they meet the needs of stakeholders. This role is an excellent opportunity to further develop your career in an exciting FinTech scaleup. 

What you'll do

  • Analyse and document payment and client facing processes and workflows.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives, requirements, and priorities.
  • Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation.
  • Facilitate workshops, meetings, and presentations to gather requirements and communicate progress of process improvement projects.
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to stakeholders throughout process improvement projects.
  • Oversee operational processes and ensure that payment and client tasks are functioning and performing as expected.
  • Map out operational process flows ensuring that performance and efficiency are at their core and updating them as required.
  • Design, get sign-off for and implement any new operational processes needed by the business.
  • Carry out training sessions to ensure that users including both onshore and off-shore teams are able to complete the agreed operational processes to the agreed standards.
  • Generate analysis reports within SLA ensuring that any trends are flagged to applicable stakeholders and necessary actions are taken.

About you

  • You have proven experience in leading end-to-end operational transformation initiatives, preferably for payment or client facing processes.
  • You have strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and functions.
  • You have excellent project management skills with a track record of successful implementation of change initiatives. Recognised Business Analyst or Project Management qualification is a plus.
  • You have solid knowledge of financial regulations and compliance. Good knowledge of FCA is a plus.
  • You have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills as well as the ability to identify trends using data.
  • You are a great communicator, both verbal and written.
