Reporting directly to our CTO, you will get to have complete ownership over large feature sets and sections of the codebase. Since we are still a small team, you’ll get to decide early on about what architecture to implement and make important design decisions. 

What you'll do

  • Design, implement and test new features (including relevant APIs and frontend components)
  • Collaborate with a team of engineers and share technical expertise
  • Help develop and main Infrastructure and deployment process 
  • Plan new features with engineering and business leaders
  • Improve team engineering processes

What you have

  • 5+ years of professional software development experience
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science (or equivalent training)
  • Fluent in TypeScript or JavaScript
  • Passion for SageSpot - We want you to love the product that you are crafting. We love talking to individuals who get excited about what we are doing and have many ideas to contribute to the team
  • Product mindset - The purpose of the team is to deliver a new social media experience that changes the way that we connect in the digital world. We build with that in the forefront of our minds
  • Technical curiosity and eagerness to learn

Huge plus if you have

  • Familiarity with Terraform or equivalent language
  • Experience working with Kubernetes Infrastructure
  • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
  • Professional experience with modern development practices (CI/CD, test driven development, infrastructure as code)
