Join SADA as a Senior Enterprise Cloud Architect, Software Engineering

Your Mission

As a Senior Enterprise Cloud Architect at SADA, with a specialization in Software Engineering, your main responsibility is to lead a team of architects and engineers in designing, prototyping, developing, and deploying scalable software solutions for our customers on the Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

As part of your role, you will collaborate with various teams, including customers, engineering, sales, and Googlers.

You will be responsible for architecting and developing solutions across multiple stacks, including APIs for web and mobile, edge computing applications, orchestration for deployments/pipelines, responsive web applications, and client applications supporting mobile and edge computing applications. SADA is a premier partner of Google Cloud Platform (GCP). As such your implementations will focus on enabling customers to utilize GCP better or to demonstrate its capabilities.

You will also be responsible for leading software engineering projects for large and intricate client engagements, often acting as the account CTO. You will have a hands-on approach, researching and presenting solutions, conducting experiments, and building prototypes to validate ideas and demonstrate the effectiveness of the solutions you recommend. You will sometimes spearhead the development of projects and lead other engineers to deliver on your vision.

Because SADA is a services-focused company, you will have the opportunity to support customers spanning every industry--including gaming, logistics, finance, healthcare, and hospitality--each with different use cases and objectives. You will obtain a breadth of skills and experience unparalleled at other companies.

What you would be doing on a daily basis:

  • Work on different types of projects with applications in various stages of development, ranging from discovery and architecture processes, soup-to-nuts development of an application, or general consulting on individual features for our internal teams.
  • Prototype Proof of Concepts for customer/team feedback
  • Quality-Review solutions delivered by other engineers on the project
  • Deliver hands-on technical mentoring and leadership to engineers on the project, especially when using niche architectural patterns. Keep the communication channels with the client transparent to update on progress, gather feedback, and evaluate opportunities.
  • Assist the Project Managers and Clients in making high-impact decisions to improve the quality/time-to-market of the delivery where relevant.
  • Shepherd high-impact PRs and changes to the required environments to extract client feedback as early as possible

Pathway to Success

Your super-power will be in helping customers understand specifically how Google Cloud technology can fundamentally solve their technical challenges and enable their future success. You will inspire cross-functional leadership from our engineering teams. You will be trusted to guide large enterprise engagements and given the freedom to build new solutions that meet customer needs.

You will establish yourself as a renowned specialist within SADA, earning a reputation with customers and with the Google Cloud sales and professional services teams for your wide-ranging domain knowledge. Other engineers and architects will routinely defer to your expertise when it comes to the delivery of project architectures. In your role, you'll manage client-oriented technical conversations. Collaborating with client architects and technology heads, you will take on the design of expansive and extended client initiatives.

Success will be measured by Client satisfaction, deals won, and your contributions to the team’s goals.

Expectations

Required Travel - Up to 25% travel to customer sites, conferences, and other related events.

Customer Facing - This is a customer-facing role. You will interact with customers on a daily basis. You will participate in calls and customer meetings to qualify for consultative engagements with engineering and business teams. You will present solutions, architectures, SOWs, demos, and other technical materials to build trust and confidence in SADA’s ability to take the customer through their cloud adoption.

Whatever your decision, it will not be considered in the hiring process or thereafter. Any information that you do provide will be recorded and maintained in a confidential file.

Race & Ethnicity Definitions

If you believe you belong to any of the categories of protected veterans listed below, please indicate by making the appropriate selection. As a government contractor subject to the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA), we request this information in order to measure the effectiveness of the outreach and positive recruitment efforts we undertake pursuant to VEVRAA. Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
