Role Overview
As the Director of People, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the people strategy at R-Zero – helping attract, retain, and develop a high-performing workforce. You will focus on driving company culture, improving employee engagement, building learning and development programs, and supporting general human resources. You will lead by influence and will be a business partner to the executive staff. This role reports to the Chief Operating Officer.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop R-Zero’s people strategy including talent acquisition, employee retention, performance management, and employee engagement
- Foster culture through programming that promotes collaboration, transparency, and alignment
- Drive core company communications regarding All Hands, new hires, learning and development, benefits, and team gatherings
- Manage employee lifecycle including recruitment, onboarding, training, development, and offboarding
- Implement learning and development programs to help employees enhance their skills
- Manage company benefits and open enrollment process
- Create job leveling framework and salary bands for company-wide compensation review cycle
- Implement process for performance reviews and career growth discussions
- Drive mandatory HR/legal trainings including workplace harassment prevention and safety
- Partner with Legal to oversee compliance and risk management, complying with all legal and regulatory requirements and managing risks related to labor laws
- Partner with Finance on payroll and compensation planning
The salary range for this position will vary based on candidate level, experience, and location. The base salary for this position contemplates a range of $160,000 - $220,000. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, and benefits. Proof of eligibility to work in the United States and a background check is required upon employment.
