We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our Data Warehouse team. If you are passionate about solving data integration challenges and developing reliable and low-maintenance data pipelines using the latest modern technologies, then join our data journey in RSI!
You will play a crucial role in keeping our Data Warehouse architecture scalable and secure. Your main focus will be developing, maintaining, and configuring our current Snowflake data warehouse platform and helping to improve further. There’s plenty of interesting work as we keep growing and entering new markets. DWH team’s core values are quality, flexibility, and innovation, we have the freedom to try out new tools and technologies if it drives us forward and improves the current Data Warehouse solution.

Our current Data Warehouse tech stack: Snowflake, AWS, Python, Airflow, DBT.

What will you do:

  • Maintain and configure our cloud databases and data pipelines in Snowflake.
  • Develop effective incremental data model logic taking into account data quality, performance and cost efficiency.
  • Develop integration services to import data from different sources (ELT) or deliver data to other systems (Reverse ETL).
  • Cooperate closely with other development teams and Operations.
  • Implement and maintain data security, auditing and performance/cost monitoring.

All About You:

  • 7+ years of experience in Software development or Data Warehousing.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer using SQL and Python.
  • Experience with a cloud-based tech stack on platforms such as AWS, GCP or Azure (docker or Kubernetes).
  • Experience with big data technologies and/or in-memory/column-oriented databases (Snowflake, Bigquery, Redshift, DataBricks,Vertica, Teradata or SAP HANA/Hadoop/Hive/Spark).
  • Knows what it takes to produce high-quality, high-performance, maintainable and scalable data pipelines.
  • Broad skills using ELT tools and data integration-related technologies (Airflow, DBT, python, S3, REST-API).
  • Positive and solution-oriented mindset, willing to try and learn new technologies.
  • Excellent knowledge of English and communication skills.
