Job Summary:

Ruggable is looking for an experienced Operations Manager to join our growing Charlotte, NC location! The Operations Manager position directs the print, production and warehouse/logistics functions across our 7-day, multi-shift operation. The role will have overall responsibility for operations SQDCP (safety, quality, delivery, cost and people) metrics. The Ops Manager will foster a culture of safety, continuous improvement and operational excellence. You will be the go-to person for all operational activities and will be ready to step in on behalf of the Plant Manager. What You’ll Do:

  • Drive plant safety and advance Ruggable’s value-based culture
  • Plan, organize and execute daily operations to meet plant SQDCP goals
  • Support department managers in achieving KPIs and trigger corrective actions when necessary
  • Assess production capabilities and capacity against short and long-term business needs; develop plans to close gaps
  • Use data to identify and implement performance improvements and reduce waste
  • Provide direction, development, and leadership to our operations team
  • Hire, train, coach and manage associates, leads and supervisors
  • Grow strong relationships with cross-functional stakeholders across the business
  • Contribute to overall business planning, including weekly and monthly forecasting and resource planning
  • Lead plant and network strategic initiatives to advance company objectives and key results (OKRs)

What You’ll Need to Have:

Required:

  • 5-7 years of experience in fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • 5-7 years of experience directing, creating, and coaching a large team
  • Financial acumen - budgeting, strategic planning, resource allocation, cost control
  • Familiarity with industry standards, equipment, technical expertise, and regulations
  • Experience designing and improving manufacturing processes
  • An analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
  • Comfortability working in a fast-paced environment with limited direction
  • Interviewing, hiring, training, rewarding and disciplining employees
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering/supply chain/ops management, or equivalent

Preferred:

  • Conversational or fluent Spanish
  • Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt Certification

Compensation:

  • $100,000 - $120,000 per year base salary
  • An annual bonus percentage that varies based on level of role
  • Employer matching (up to 3% of base salary) for company sponsored 401K plan
