Job Summary: The Marketplace team is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive marketplace strategy for multiple marketplaces, in addition to running the day to day operations of the business. As the Associate Brand Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving the channels’ growth through strategic initiatives and operations management. With the Marketplace team, you will analyze and take action against both top-line and bottom-line business metrics to react to changing market conditions and opportunities. You will work with both internal cross-functional team members as well as partner vendor experts to take the best of Ruggable’s DTC business and adapt it to fit marketplace best practices.

What You’ll Do: 

  • Analyze selling data, marketplace trends, and best practices to optimize marketplace performance and marketing strategies
  • Create an immersive online shopping experience by effectively communicating the brand's values and product offerings across Amazon listings and Storefront
  • Lead day to day business operations together with external agency partners, including touching on areas such as:
    • Managing product listings, executing tailored branded content, and identifying opportunities and issues impacting conversion and improvements to SEO 
    • Storefront merchandising 
    • Assessing and executing on product assortment opportunities based on KPI’s, customer shopping behavior, and brand consistency 
    • Setting and executing on promotional strategy, including for major events like Prime Day and Black Friday/Cyber Monday
    • FBA and FBM forecasting and fulfillment optimization
  • Partner with internal & external partners, ensuring alignment on key ecomm initiatives, promotions/events, brand marketing, and customer service across Ruggable’s multiple channels
  • Own reporting on and analyzing key KPI metrics to drive performance improvement
  • Develop and execute on strategic initiatives

What You’ll Need to Have:

Required

  • 1-2 years working in Seller Central or Vendor Central on Amazon businesses and/or other marketplaces, with a proven understanding of best practices and strategies
  • Highly organized with analytical and project management skills; able to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and resourceful, with an exceptional attention to detail and a creative and critical thinking ability
  • Ability to create insights and actionable next steps from performance data
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work in a team-based environment and foster positive relationships with cross-functional partners and external vendors
  • Creative thinker with a strategic mindset and a passion for driving business growth
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, or related field
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
  • Ability to work onsite at our Gardena headquarters on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays

Demonstrated experience with:

    • Promotional planning
    • E-commerce operations
    • Amazon Advertising
  • Experience working with external agencies
  • Experience in lifestyle categories (e.g., home, fashion, or beauty)

Compensation:

  • $66,560-$75,000 per year base salary
  • An annual bonus percentage that varies based on level of role
  • Employer matching (up to 3% of base salary) for company sponsored 401K plan
