At RudderStack, we are redefining enterprise-scale data collection and routing. We are building a customer data platform (CDP) on the customer's own data warehouse. About the the Team:

We are a high performant team of data, security, and marketing experts, who have spent a lot of time working with large scale data at enterprises in Silicon Valley & India. We are looking to solve the customer data management problem once and for all, in a secure, compliant and cost-effective way.

We have our team located in Silicon Valley, Hyderabad, Kolkata and Athens.

We are backed by Kleiner Perkins, Insight Partners and S28 Capital.

What you'll do:

  • Ownership of product/feature end-to-end for all phases from the development to the production
  • Interact with product manager and convert their vision into technical solutions
  • Review code work for accuracy and functionality and involved in design and architecture review
  • Collaborate with other engineering leads and guide the team on software engineering best practices
  • Managing, coaching, and mentoring with regular 1:1s with team members with providing career development planning and guidance

Examples of desirable skills, knowledge and experience:

  • A minimum of 6+ years of software development experience with 1+ year of management experience
  • Strong knowledge of Data Structures, Algorithms and CS fundamentals
  • Experience both as an individual contributor and with managing a team of software engineers
  • Technical leader who is able to make complex problems seems approchable
  • Approach problems with first principle
  • Strong organizational and executive communication skills
  • Self-starter who is comfortable taking on a high level of responsibility
  • Experience with Golang, JavaScript, Nodejs, React
  • Experience with agile and fast moving startup is a plus
