Position Description 

We are looking for a proactive, driven, personable and analytically-minded individual to grow and support our key strategic customer relationships on our team in New York City. The ideal candidate has experience in client or professional services, a strong understanding of US healthcare landscape, and is comfortable in a fast-moving environment. Your goals will include leading the business development activities and driving growth within major clients. You will be responsible for prospecting, developing key strategic relationships, mentoring a team, advancing our sales infrastructure, and driving expansion opportunities.  Key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing and growing relationships with key partners and customers
  • Understanding and addressing customer needs over time
  • Preparing commercial proposals for potential and current customers
  • Defining and measuring success metrics
  • Establishing partnership opportunities with existing customers
  • Analyzing and interpreting data to demonstrate ROI and customer benefits
  • Anticipating and interpreting macro and policy level changes, communicating impact on key accounts

Desired skills and experience:

  • Analytical and data driven problem solver
  • 3-5 years of experience in sales, client services, account management or strategy
  • Personable, engaging communicator, both oral and written
  • Deep knowledge of the healthcare landscape, policy, and macro trends
  • Understanding of business principles including forecasting
  • Adept at using Salesforce, Microsoft Office including Excel and PowerPoint
  • Sales experience required

Expectations

  • Up to 25% travel to partner & client sites and conferences
  • Strategic partner recruitment including but not limited to institutes, associations, clinics, hospital systems, vendors, and consultants
  • Market research, presentation preparation, presentation delivery
  • Cross functional projects particularly working with post sale implementation
  • Recruitment support
  • Collateral, process, and training development
  • Willingness to improve, innovate, and test to help take RubiconMD to the next level
