We are seeking a talented Paralegal to join our team and play a vital role in executing and scaling legal operations at RTI. We want a highly capable individual who is willing to learn, solve problems, and juggle a wide variety of responsibilities on a daily basis. This role will manage key legal processes and administrative functions, lead organizational projects, work cross-functionally with multiple teams, and manage the contract life-cycle for all corporate and commercial contracts.

The ideal candidate will have several years of previous paralegal or legal administration experience and be able to work effectively both independently and across teams to achieve timely results.  If you desire an opportunity to be a key operational contributor to the success of a fast growing technology company, this is the ideal role for you!

Responsibilities:

  • Review, redline, and escalate for review high-volume agreements, such as NDAs and vendor agreements 
  • Assist with all aspects of contract lifecycle, including: 
    • Improve and implement contract review & approval workflows
    • Track and record contract review progression 
    • Route contracts for signature & distribution to internal teams
  • Capture, assign, and track all incoming legal requests to ensure timely completion
  • Project manage long-term strategic legal projects
  • Organize and update the corporate legal knowledge management database and systems
  • Generate internal legal training content and track staff compliance
  • Act as liaison between the Legal team and both internal and external contacts
  • Draft, proofread, and format legal forms and correspondence
  • Assist the Finance team with general state and tax filings and other corporate governance tasks
  • Provide administrative support for the Legal team, including ingesting and organizing files, taking meeting notes, and managing calendars

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in a business related discipline AND at least 3 years of paralegal or legal administration experience
  • Excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and critical thinking and analytical mindset
  • Strong communicator, both written and verbal; reliable, responsive, and transparent communication is critical for this role as well as the ability to use discretion and tact when necessary
  • Experience in the areas of document administration, organizational project management, and legal operations
  • Ability to prioritize work and learn quickly in a fast paced environment and act with a sense of urgency to deliver timely results
  • Proficient with common business applications including Microsoft Office and Google Suite

  • Project management experience with a proven track record of success
  • Experience with contract lifecycle management software implementation and use
  • Experience using Monday.com, CRM software (Salesforce preferred), and e-signature platforms
  • Experience at a large law firm or in-house legal department
  • Strong legal research skills and familiarity with legal research methods and tools
