We are looking for a Software Intern. As a Software Intern, you will be paired with a mentor and learn how to build commercial software for real-time distributed systems demanding extreme performance and scalability. During your internship, you will be joining the larger engineering team, as any other engineering employee : you will be part of a specific team, going through the same training, be part of the same weekly status meetings, and company updates. You may be working on a prototype, validating a new approach, or you may be working on a feature or test for the RTI Connext products. We want to provide you the full experience of working at RTI. Examples of previous RTI internship projects included a Python language binding, performance analysis of our software, an integration with Prometheus, being part of the team creating a new build system.

Who are we looking for?

  • At RTI, we work primarily in C/C++, We also work in Java/ C#/Python/Javascript and Lua. Apply for the internship if you love programming and want to learn about professional software engineering processes.
  • Solid understanding of computer networking and operating systems. Docker and container technologies are a plus.
  • Knowledge about Continuous Integration tools (Jenkins, Bamboo, Travis) is a plus.
  • Last-year student in Computer Science or related.  Master’s degree preferred.
  • Candidates must be able to work at least half-time in 2021. Internships are about 6 months part-time in duration.
  • Must be enroll in the ICARO Program (University of Granada) or PROPIO Program (University of Córdoba) and willing to work in the Granada, Spain office.
